How to EXIT the highway to discover the Brunswick Valley Way

Approximately 800 km north of Sydney, 40 km south of the Queensland border and just 20km north of Byron Bay, the Brunswick Valley is perfectly positioned for a peaceful, relaxing holiday in a temperate, tropical climate.

The Brunswick Valley stretches from the beautiful beaches of Brunswick Heads, New Brighton, South Golden Beach and Tyagaragh along the Brunswick River to the picturesque town of Mullumbimby and beyond to the upper reaches of the escarpment. Included in the Brunswick Valley are villages and farming districts such as Main Arm, the Pocket, Yelgun, Montecollum, Huonbrook, Goonengerry, Coorabell, Durrumbul, Myocum, Ewingsdale, Palmwoods and Wilson's Creek. These areas have beautiful country and coastal views. Breathtaking views can be experienced from many of the country retreats and bed and breakfast accommodation centres dotted along the escarpment.

The township of Ocean Shores, in the north of the valley and historic Billinudgel (home of the famous MA Ring's Billinudgel Hotel) provide residential and industrial areas for the rapidly growing population of the valley.

A holiday in the Brunswick Valley provides excellent family entertainment in a pristine environment of coastal waterways and rainforests. The Brunswick River is perfect for swimming, fishing, snorkelling and boating. Holiday makers can also relax in one of the many parks in Brunswick Heads which provide extensive grassed areas overlooking sparkling waters. Patrolled surfing beaches are an added attraction for families making the most of the holiday atmosphere.
