EVENTS of the Brunswick Valley

The long running Festivals & Events of the Brunswick Valley reflects the unique history of the area, which is celebrated by locals and visitors together, at selected times throughout the year.
The Brunswick Valley community welcomes visitors all year round and endeavours to provide enjoyable activities for all members of the family.

The Festival of the Fish n Chips takes place annually in Brunswick Heads during January. Summer nights, cool breezes and the reflection of lights on
the water provide an excellent back-drop for this kind of family entertainment. The side-show, carnival rides, housie and lucky envelopes which are all part of the festival, provide leisurely entertainment for visitors. Many visitors are drawn to the township to see the enormous fireworks display which heralds the start of the festival.
